Terms
These Terms govern your use of the Mirror Health website and, when available, the Mirror Health iPhone app. By using Mirror Health, you agree to these Terms.
About Mirror Health
Mirror Health is a private daily selfie check-in and AI wellness tips experience operated by Ax Technology Holdings LLC. It is designed to support daily check-ins, saved wellness tips, and non-diagnostic routine awareness.
Mirror Health is not a doctor, clinician, diagnosis tool, therapist, a lawyer, an abuse intervention service, an emergency service, or a crisis response service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mirror Health. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Mirror Health only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Mirror Health is not directed to children under 13.
Accounts
Some features may require an account, Sign in with Apple, iCloud, or another authentication method. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, devices, and account recovery methods secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Wellness and Professional Limits
Mirror Health may support daily selfie check-ins, wellness reflection, routine awareness, and calm next steps. Mirror Health does not provide diagnosis, disease detection, official medical interpretation, professional counseling, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or safety planning.
Do not rely on Mirror Health as your only source of support for health, emotional, medical, legal, financial, abuse, or safety decisions. For personal, clinical, legal, or urgent matters, contact a qualified human professional, trusted community member, clinician, emergency service, or local support organization as appropriate.
Emergencies and Crisis Situations
Do not use Mirror Health for emergencies. If you may harm yourself or someone else, if someone else may harm you, or if you need urgent medical, mental health, safety, or abuse-related help, call emergency services or a local crisis resource immediately. If you are in the United States, you can call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
AI-Assisted Features
Mirror Health may include AI-assisted selfie check-in, wellness tip, chat, or safety-routing features. AI outputs can be incomplete, outdated, inappropriate, or wrong. You are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on them, sharing them, or taking action based on them.
AI features must not be understood as medical diagnosis, clinician review, therapy, legal advice, or emergency response. Mirror Health may label AI features, limit certain outputs, route safety-related messages differently, or refuse requests that create risk or violate these Terms.
Your Content
You keep ownership of optional selfie notes, chat messages, saved tips, support messages, and other content you submit to Mirror Health. You grant Mirror Health a limited, worldwide, nonexclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, adapt for technical formatting, and otherwise use your content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support Mirror Health; provide AI-assisted features; comply with law; and enforce these Terms.
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content that you do not have the right to submit, content that violates law, content that exploits or harms others, or unnecessary sensitive information about other people. If Mirror Health later offers sharing, community, or export features, you are responsible for choosing what to share and with whom.
Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse Mirror Health, interfere with the service, or bypass security.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attack Mirror Health systems.
- Do not use Mirror Health to harass, exploit, threaten, impersonate, or harm others.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive, sexual exploitation, or violent content.
- Do not use Mirror Health to generate deceptive medical, diagnostic, or clinician-like claims.
- Do not use Mirror Health to develop competing AI models or automated datasets.
Subscriptions and Billing
Mirror Health may offer free features and paid features through auto-renewable subscriptions or other in-app purchases. Paid features may include AI companion access, daily check-in history, saved tips, reminders, personalization, or other premium functionality described at purchase.
If you purchase through the App Store, payment will be charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Prices, subscription periods, included features, and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple unless applicable law requires otherwise. Mirror Health subscriptions are not donations, and payment does not improve medical access, health outcomes, or emergency support.
Third-Party Services
Mirror Health may rely on third-party services such as Apple, iCloud, App Store purchase systems, AI providers, analytics providers, paywall providers, support providers, hosting providers, notification services, and crash diagnostics providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Intellectual Property
Mirror Health, including the website, app, software, design, brand, text, graphics, generated interface elements, and other materials, is owned by Mirror Health or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Mirror Health intellectual property.
Feedback
If you send feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant Mirror Health the right to use them without restriction or compensation. Do not send confidential information as feedback unless a separate written agreement applies.
Changes and Availability
Mirror Health may change, suspend, or discontinue features, content, pricing, subscriptions, eligibility, or availability over time. Material changes to paid subscriptions will be handled through the App Store or other required notices. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date.
Termination
You may stop using Mirror Health at any time. Mirror Health may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Mirror Health or others, misuse the service, fail to pay applicable fees, or if legal, platform, security, or operational reasons require it. Termination does not limit rights or obligations that should reasonably survive.
Disclaimers
Mirror Health is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Mirror Health disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and health, emotional, or professional outcomes.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Mirror Health and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or health, emotional, professional, or safety outcomes arising from or related to your use of Mirror Health.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Mirror Health harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of Mirror Health, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
Disputes and Governing Law
Before bringing a claim, please contact support@mirrorhealth.app so we can try to resolve the issue informally. The final governing law, venue, arbitration, class-action waiver, jury waiver, small-claims, and opt-out language will be added after legal review and before paid app launch. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your location may still apply.
